Description:
- The first Nova Rock Festival took place in June of 2005 and, over the course of the weekend, featured concerts by Green Day, Weezer, Boysetsfire, Die Ärzte, and many other national and international rock bands. The 2006 version brought famed groups like Guns N' Roses, Tool, and Massive Attack, and even more big names headed to the 2007 weekend of guitar swinging and ground shaking, including The Smashing Pumpkins and Pearl Jam. The Pannonia Fields II in Nickelsdorf, near to the Hungarian and Slovenian borders, is host to this mega-event and provides plenty of room for rock-enthusiasts to lay back on blankets, mingle in the crowds or get cozy in front of the sweat-spewing stage.
