Uhrenmuseum

Description:

  • The Clock Museum is situated in the oldest part of the city. With about 1,200 pieces, this museum presents the chronological development of mechanical, electrical and electronic clocks to the present day. It can be quite interesting to ponder all the hours kept by clocks over the years of their existence. Fascinating striking movements and astonishing musical displays are activated during guided tours. Mechanicals include circus horses moving around and the Twelve Apostles striking a bell.
