Description:

  • This is as good as it gets in Villefranche. The Welcome was a favorite of author and filmmaker Jean Cocteau. In this six-story villa hotel, with shutters and balconies, everything has been modernized and extensively renovated. Try for a fifth-floor room overlooking the water. All the midsize to spacious rooms are comfortably furnished, each with a small bathroom, and most with a combination tub/shower. The sidewalk cafe is the focal point of town life.
