- Another North County San Diego brewery, Green Flash has been in the biz since 2002. Like Stone, Alesmith, and Port, Green Flash started when those damned meddling kids realized that traditional beer was bland and boring, picked up a homebrewing kit, and turned it into delicious, hoppy profits.
Most famously known for their West Coast IPA, Green Flash, like the other aforementioned breweries, helped shape the West Coast IPA style over the past decade. Now they brew everything from Barleywines to Belgians.
