- The Hay-Adams is located in Washington D.C., within walking distance of Lafayette Square and one mile of the National Mall. The hotel prides itself on the views from most of its rooms, many of which overlook the White House and Lafayette Park. Guests love the doormen, who escort guests to the check-in desk, help with luggage and answer questions. The free Wi-Fi and T1 internet access particularly please guests, who note the connection is fast and readily available in all rooms. Additionally, the gold and cream decor of the rooms strikes guests as luxurious and tasteful. However, some guests complain about the size of the rooms and bathrooms. Others find the walls too thin.
