In March 2008, Corduroy, with chef Tom Power steady at the helm, moved from its perch inside the Four Points Sheraton Hotel to its own place in the up-and-coming convention center neighborhood.

Some of the newest stars of the downtown scene include CityZen, which features the inventive cuisine of Chef Eric Ziebold, and Rasika, which offers five-star Indian fare.
