• Vegetate Restaurant is DC's premier vegetarian restaurant featuring farm to table local, organic and modern seasonal cuisine. A small, family owned business located in the Shaw neighborhood, we believe in using the best possible ingredients from local and regional farms, purveyors and businesses. Our restaurant is in an historic three-story row house. Our main dining room is on the first floor, and our bar and lounge is on the second floor. We also have a communal table that can seat up to 12 people. With DJ Dredd as one of the owners, there's always great music. Local artwork completes the cozy and chic atmosphere. A credit card is required for all reservations for parties of 6 or more and there is per person minimum of $30. Any changes or cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance or you will be charged a $30 per person fee based on the number of people in your original reservation.
