    • Having tried my hand at salsa dancing in Latin America, I was hankering for a try back home. My friend told me about Habana Village, and I was sold. The dance floor, long and narrow, heats up with attractive couples unabashedly strutting in sensual, coordinated movements across the floor. As a beginner, I have to say I was a little overwhelmed, but tasty mojitos (sadly served in plastic cups) took away a little of my shame. The music was a great mix, mostly salsa, and merengue, but also other Latin genres like bachata. The bar offers salsa lessons, as well as energetic live music.
