The couple who owns the shop, Phil and Jan Fenty, are the parents of D.C. mayor Adrian Fenty, whose brothers, if not the mayor himself, you might find racing next to you during the weekly Sunday morning 5-mile fun run that Fleet Feet launches from its doorstep at 9am. (Just show up, if you're interested.) Merchandise-wise, the store sells sports and running shoes, apparel, and accessories, and is known for its friendly staff.
