Description:

  • Lee's Woods Interpretive Trail is an easy to moderate hike. A self-guided booklet is available at the park office. The interpretive stations are marked by a post with a white number. This historic walk takes the visitor on the same ground where General Robert E. Lee once ordered a blockade of the Potomac, hoping to cut off water access to Washington, D.C.
