Description:
DC takes its Fourth of July celebrations very seriously. In addition to the ubiquitous fireworks, which are incredible, the city hosts dozens of exhibits, concerts, and a parade along Constitution Avenue (one of the National Mall's main drags). And there is a lot of great music, too - from concerts by famous rock stars to a performance by the National Symphony Orchestra. Kids will enjoy themselvs - but bear in mind that it'll be a mob scene, so you'd better like crowds!
