Description:
- This 1.1-mile loop trail has interpretative signs about the area's history. The trail is winding and passes through a hardwood forest of oak and maple.
Backpacking opportunities afford hike-in sites: non-potable water only and pit toilets. Access to Appalachian Trail lies to the northwest.
Note: Appalachian Trial users must use the primitive campground when camping within park boundaries, and they are required to pay the $8.00 per site, per night fee. There are honor fee envelopes and a pipe safe located in the campground at the information board. AT hikers who wish to park in the Sky Meadow's lot overnight without camping within the park must pay the daily parking fee.
