A visit to the US Botanic Gardens is a must. They have an absolutely beautiful train display and Christmas decorations . . . http://www.usbg.gov/exhibits.cfm. It is close to the Capitol and other museums and indoors! Another must is the National Christmas tree and Yulelog on the Eclipse.
