- If you coming to Whistler, there's a big chance that you're coming for some snow! Year round, you can get a bit of snow in on Whistler or Blackcomb Mountains. During the summer months, ski at the peak of Whistler Mountain on the glacier and enjoy a cold drink in your shorts in Whistler Village. The Village, as locals call it, is the hub of where all the social action is in the city. If you're not an avid skier, it's still worth taking a ride up the gondola to get in the magnificent views of Whistler Mountain.
