  • If you're coming to Whistler, chances are that you have come to do something outdoors and get your heart rate up. Many people think of Whistler as a winter destination, but there are active things to do in Whistler all year long. If you're visiting in the winter, there are so many things to do each day that you will never get bored.

    Some great options to explore are Whistler Cross Country Ski & Hike. This is a great day for those that want to try something a little different that your usual downhill skiing. It can definitely be a physical challenge, if you want it to be, so work according to your skill level.

    For those really seeking an adventure, Whistler Heli-Skiing is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Firstly, the helicopter ride in itself is a fun activity to do. After they drop you off at on a glacier, you get to ski down on un-touched fresh powder. Amazing!

    The Ziptrek and TreeTrek Ecotours are a great way to explore Whistler's nature. Not to mention, the ziplining is so much fun and the speeds you can get up to are very thrilling!

    During the summer months, there are plenty of bike parks to take advantage of and the Whistler Mountain Bike Park is the main one. There are varying levels of trails to go down, so no matter what your skill there's something for you. There are a quite a few golf courses in Whistler and nothing beats a warm day, a beautiful scenery and 18 holes to kick around on. Nicklaus North, Whistler Golf and the Fairmont courses are all fun to do.
