Description:
- Creekside is a small scenic point on the base of Whistler mountain just south of Whistler Village. With pristine snow and a network of gondolas, the existing ski trails on the mountain were expended to create a low impact and beautiful Alpine Ski Event Course. Of particular note along the course is the "Hot Air" jump just before the finish line. The facility has capacity for 7700 attendees including both the men's and women's courses. Visitors have the option to take the gondola from the entrance of the venue to the viewing area or walk the 800 meters (875 yards) to the top. The area also has quaint cafes and ski-shops as well as lots of lodges.
