Day 1 - Whistler

When you arrive to Whistler, the first thing that you will notice is of course, The Mountain. Whistler Blackcomb has some of the best runs in North America, and bring people from all over the world. The gondola takes you half way up the mountain (it's all chairlifts after the 20-minute gondola ride) and is the best way to see Whistler. The views are incredible! Another great thing about the gondola is that it fits many people, so you never have to wait in line for long. The new PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola is one of a kind and will take you from Whistler Mountain to Blackcomb Mountain. Midway through the day, stop in at the Roundhouse for lunch. You can't miss it because it's located very close to the gondola. Try to avoid peak times because it gets rather busy in there. After you have spent the day skiing, walking around Whistler Village is a great way to get acquainted with the city and figure out where everything is. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and cafés to acquaint yourself with. After a little browse around, head to Hy's Steakhouse for a delicious steak dinner. They take being a "steakhouse" very seriously and serve the best cuts and provide wonderful service. When you have finished eating like a king, head over to the Mix Lounge for great music and a funky vibe. "The Mix", as locals call it, draws a great crowd and serves fabulous cocktails. The Crystal Lodge is based at the bottom of Whistler Blackcomb, which makes it incredibly convenient to access from just about anywhere in Whistler Village. Plus, the rooms are very comfortable.

Day 2 - Whistler

You may be a little sore from skiing all day long on Whistler Blackcomb, so taking it easy today may be just what the doctor ordered. The Coca-Cola Tube Park is a lot of fun and not nearly as strenuous as skiing. They have multiple runs that you can spend hours upon hours racing down, and the best part is the conveyor belt that pulls you back up the hill. Remember, your muscles are sore. Milestone's offers great breakfast, lunch and dinner, but they have some fantastic lunch specials. You can never go wrong with Milestone's, and if you enjoy it as much as others do, you might just find yourself going back there for a nightcap. The bar side of Milestone's can get rather busy. People are always looking to buy a souvenir while on holiday, Expressions Art Studio allows you to make your own. It's a great way to relax and work on your own piece of art. It's located in the Village, so it's within walking distance. The cold weather in Whistler may make your bones chill, but dinner at Tandoori Grill will warm you right up. They serve stellar Indian food that is both flavorful and reasonably priced. Finish the night off with a few pints at the Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub. You might need some luck to mush the huskies when you go dogsledding the next day!

Day 3 - Whistler

Doglsledding just seems like the most picture perfect winter activity, and Whistler Dogsledding proves that it is. This activity will take up much of your day as you race through Whistlers backcountry with a pack of huskies. Your guide will even teach you how to mush your own pack of dogs, if you feel up for it. Otherwise, feel free to sit back, relax and enjoy the speed and grace of the dogs. Warm cheese and playing with your food awaits you at your hotel. The Chalet is in the Fairmont Chateau Whistler and is a very indulgent experience. There's just something about mountains and fondue that go hand-in-hand. They say that one should either drink hot tea or alcohol to keep the cheese from balling up in your stomach, so head over to the Firerock Lounge for a drink and sit by the beautiful fireplace. Your room at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler awaits you with comfort and classic charm. It's one of the most beautiful hotels in Whistler and is worth splurging for a night.
