Description:
In big, bright displays with lots of artifacts right at toddler level, the "Distinctly Delaware" exhibit tells all about the 200-plus years of Delaware history. DuPont is heavily featured, of course, but visitors will also learn about agriculture, the state's role in the underground railroad, and the famous Delawareans portrayed in wax, including civil-rights attorney Louis Redding and Emily Bissell, who created Christmas Seals. Grandma's Attic is a delightful place for kids to play and try on clothes. Children's programs are offered, too.
