Verdugo Mountains State Park - Woodland Hills

  • Description:

    • The Verdugo Mountains are a freestanding mini mountain range within Los Angeles County. This slice of nature lies within a sprawling metropolitan area. Trails through the park take visitors through chaparral, across shady, oak-forested slopes and along sycamore-lined streams. The parks highest point measures 3,126 feet. Ascending to the top of this peak gets you a view of the San Gabriel and the San Fernando valleys and the Los Angeles plain. Facilities at this site are limited. Visitors to this State Park can enjoy city views and hiking. This park is located in Los Angeles County. The entrance to this park is on La Tuna Canyon Road, immediately west of Interstate 21.
