Xiangdian Shanzhuang (Xiangdian International Hotel)

Description:

• Visiting dignitaries usually stay at the Pipa Xi Hotel, but that should change now that this hotel has upgraded to four stars. Rooms are simple but pleasant and bright. Bathrooms combine tub and shower in a small, spotless space. The grounds have been beautifully landscaped and include lawns, a pond, and a pagoda; classical Chinese music plays faintly in the background -- all to wonderful effect. Many of the rooms have close-up views of the mountains.
