The Subtropical botanical Gardens, located near Sunlight Rock, contain flower gardens, greenhouses, and over 1,000 species of plants. Huang Rongyuan Villa, a private garden located on Fujian Road, offers views of the nearby Catholic church and contains numerous species of trees, including fig, lotus, camphor, bamboo, and cedar. Canghai Garden, a large garden set by the sea, contains views of the ocean, a walking bridge that spans the water, fishponds, and pavilions.
