• For generations, a summer vacation in York, Maine has been the stuff of childhood dreams. Just outside of town you'll find one of the area's most beloved landmarks – Nubble Lighthouse. A parking area borders the narrow inlet that faces the lighthouse. On a typical summer night, you'll find families comfortably seated in their automobiles, enjoying the Nubble's scenic beauty while joyfully licking their ice cream cones.
