Description:

  • This two-day outdoor adventure is lead by local naturalist, Michael Ross. Designed especially for plant lovers, the outing focuses on hiking the area surrounding beautiful Glacier Point. During the hikes, participants will study the flora and fauna of Yosemite, and will learn to identify at least five plants indigenous to Yosemite. Ross will explain how to use a hand lens, notebook, camera and sketchbook to get the most out of this "working study" of botany. This event requires you to be in good physical condition in order to complete daily, four-mile hikes. The $195 fee per person does not include meals or lodging.
