Most visitor and locals lists have to start with the grand Ahwahnee, where elegant dining is framed by huge windows that take in the trees and cliffs right outside. People who come to really see Yosemite will grab some picnic supplies at Degnan's Deli and hit the trail for dining al fresco.  This might be the very best way to dine well, have a priceless atmosphere and truly be in the park.
