In another vein, the Iron Door Saloon in Groveland delivers a different kind of romance: that of the hard working Forty-Niners who sought hearty repast and a relaxing beverage after a rough spell of toil. Modern visitors appreciate the honest history at the Iron Door where a partnership is cemented in jeans, boots and t-shirt.
