A truly unique overnight location.
Far end of Glacier Point Road
95389 Yosemite National Park,
Highway 41 corridor
The summertime snack/gift shop at Glacier Point becomes a cozy winter hut for skiers to spend a night in a choice location. It's ten miles from Badger Pass Ski Area to the Glacier Point hut; it can be snowshoed, but that's a long slog. XC skiers do much better, and it's groomed route the whole way. Meals are included in your price, including a lunch packed for your ski back to Badger. If you're new to the Sierra winter you can even go with a local guide from the Nordic Ski School at Badger Pass.
Once at Glacier Point you'll have access to the astonishing landscape of Yosemite spread out below and before you. Vernal Fall, Half Dome and the park's high country are all revealed off the Point. In summer it's a busy parking lot, but you'll have quiet, snow, granite and wilderness on display - all for you.
