Wawona Campground - Yosemite National Park
  • Type: Camping
  • NileGuide Expert tip:

A nice hike is on the 1875 wagon road, found up in the woods across from the campground entrance.

  • Description:

    • The Wawona Campground lies right along Highway 41 a short distance north of Wawona. The site is open for RV and tent camping year round. Reservations are accepted from May through October. During the fall and winter months sites are available on a first come, first served basis. Wawona Campground consists of 100 sites at 4,000 feet along the South Fork Merced River. Each site includes a picnic table and fire pit. Available within the campground are drinking water, flush toilets, and a dump station. Pets are allowed at this site. Swimming and fishing opportunities are available on site.
