- Badger Pass offers a ski and snowboard school, a Nordic school, snowshoe rentals, a snack bar, a ski rental and repair shop, day lodge, first aid station, ski patrol, and an outdoor barbecue on most weekends, weather permitting.
Badger Pass is an excellent place to learn to ski since 85% of Badger's slopes are devoted to beginner and intermediate lever skiers. It's very popular with families.
It's a small area, but historically significant; Badger Pass offers downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing. The park offers NPS-guided snowshoe walks.
Yosemite's Badger Pass is a one-hour drive from Yosemite Valley on Highway 41 and the Glacier Point Road. A free bus leaves daily from Curry Village, the Ahwahnee Hotel, and the Yosemite Lodge. Check the Yosemite Guide or hotel front desks for information.
