Camp Six Yurt

Description:

• Follow the signs to Day Use Parking in Yosemite Village and leave your car for the day while you explore Yosemite Valley by bike, foot, or free shuttle bus.  When you get out of your car you may want a bathroom and then some orientation to where you are and where to go.  The Yurt is the place to go.  Helpful volunteers staff the yurt for the soul purpose of answering questions and getting people pointed in the right direction for a fruitful visit.  It's still a 5-minute walk to the Visitor Center, but this is a vital first step.
  There is a shuttle stop right next door; in the summer buses go straight to the Visitor Center.  Or all year, another adjacent stop serves the buses that'll bring you to trailheads, lodging or camping (and the Visitor Center).
