Eagle Peak Trail - Yosemite National Park

  • Description:

    • This trail begins from the Sunnyside Campground or the Yosemite Lodge parking area via the north side Valley Floor Trail. It is steep with more than 125 switchbacks to reach the Upper Yosemite Falls overlook. The falls flow during the spring and early summer months. Eagle Peak lies three miles beyond the Upper Yosemite Falls crest. It is the highest peak within the three brothers formation. From the 7,779-foot summit of Eagle Peak the Yosemite Valley, Eastern Sierras and Coast Range are visible.
