• In the cool high country of Yosemite is the hard-to-get-into Tuolumne Meadows Campground.  Each July the non-profit Yosemite Conservancy hosts two long-weekend family camps in this gorgeous mountain setting.  Naturalists guide activities for kids and adults, provide evening programs by the campfire, and facilitate a great social bonding experience.  All the cooking and dishwashing is done for you; families just need to bring their tents and camping gear.  These fun sessions have become a great way for parents to start their kids on building a lifelong connection to nature -while building a strong family with this kind of shared experience.
