• User Review:

    • Mount Conness, at 12,590 feet in elevation, is the tallest peak north of the Tioga Pass Road within Yosemite National Park. The climb can be done either from Young Lakes or from the Saddlebag Lake Road camping area, with the latter being slightly more difficult (both are class 2-3). The top ridge is an exposed scramble, with a sheer drop to the north and south, but the views from the summit, spanning across the entire park and up and down the Sierra, are truly spectacular.
