- The Taft Point Trail begins from the Taft Point/Sentinel Trailhead on Glacier Point Road. This is a short trail leading to an overlook of the Yosemite Valley. Taft Point/Profile Cliff is the destination of this trek to the southern rim of Yosemite Valley, views of many attractions within the valley are available from this site.
