Yosemite Theater - Yosemite National Park
  • Type: Events
  • NileGuide Expert Says:

Unique and powerful performances make this a national park experience not found in many places.

  • NileGuide Expert tip:

    Expect entertaining education

    Description:

    • Located right in Yosemite Village the Yosemite Theater is organized by the non-profit Yosemite Conservancy during the summer season.  Live performances, sometimes accompanied by film, deliver world class entertainment that is Yosemite-centered.  You'll be delighted with how much you enjoy this learning experience - or how much you learn during this entertainment experience.
Famed Yosemite climber Ron Kauk draws huge crowds when he narrates his film, "Return to Balance," and the renowned actor Lee Stetson's portrayals of John Muir and Shelton Johnson's Buffalo Soldier tales are known to PBS and Oprah viewers across the nation.  Musician/historian Tom Bopp brings some tuneful heritage to life.  The videographers behind the virally popular "Yosemite Nature Notes" share some of their stories from behind the camera.
Check the Yosemite Guide for what's scheduled when you're in the park.  Get tickets in the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center; the theater is right out back.  Don't be late!
