There are some very romantic things to do in Zion. Here, we suggest some of the most romantic activities in this lovely outdoor setting. Wine, roses, and rings are optional while you sweet talk your sweetheart. For starters, how about an easy stroll at sunset along the Pa'rus Trail, which winds along the Virgin River? Or a gentle excursion at Riverside Walk, ending at the point where the Virgin River merrily tumbles out of the Narrows.
The Zion Scenic Byway offers up sublime views, many chances to pull over and admire the vistas (and each other, of course), and the opportunity to spy that perfect little spot to sit and maybe canoodle, far away from the crowds in the main canyon. We chose Weeping Rock not for its name, but because you are rewarded with a lovely waterfall at trail's end. For more quality together time, try Taylor Creek. It's a gorgeous trail that is undervisited, meaning you'll have natural beauty and each other more to yourselves. A sublime view is easily reached at the Timber Creek Overlook in the Kolob Canyons section.
Now, our last choices can be tough uphill hikes. So why did we put them on the list? Because the sweeping grandeur of Zion greets you at the end of each trail. And what better way to appreciate each other than while taking in the views, watching sunset (Canyon Overlook is particularly great for that), or maybe even toasting (or proposing!) your devotion to one another while basking in the beauty that is Zion.
