Description:

• The six campsites at Lava Point are in the Kolob Terrace section of Zion. They are open from June through November, weather depending. Six primitive sites are available, first come, first served. Pit toilets and trash cans are available. Visitors should be aware that there is no water available at the sites. Vehicles longer than 19 feet aren't allowed on the road to this campground. The elevation here is 7,890 feet. For a primitive, uncrowded experience, this campground is where to stay.
