  • NileGuide Expert Says:

Hands-on, fun, educational way to encourage youngsters to appreciate their national parks

  • NileGuide Expert tip:

Ranger-led activities are available only during the summer months. The self-guided activity booklet is available year-round.

    Description:

    • Becoming a Junior Ranger is very cool. It's too cool for adult visitors, so it's only offered to kids. Offering both ranger-guided and self-guided programs, this seasonal (think warm months) activity is a great way to introduce Zion to budding naturalists.

Kids 6-12 can earn a Junior Ranger Badge or a Ranger Explorer Patch.

Kids under 6 can be Junior Ranger Helpers and earn a Junior Ranger Pin.

And of course in our modern age, kids can also become Web Rangers.
