- The Italian restaurants of Zürich offer something for everybody. Located in one of Zurich's most beautiful historical buildings, Terrasse opened in 2000. Its bright dining room features soaring ceilings, Ionic columns and sparkling chandeliers. Contrapunto, a quaint Italian eatery tucked away in the corner of a street, is very easy to miss except for the crowd that flocks here in the evenings. Amalfi is an attractive ristorante located on a posh corner of Zurich's Seefeld neighborhood, just a short walk from the lake and the opera house. Samses, a sunny restaurant located on a lively street corner is perfect for people-watching. In summer, there are a few sidewalk tables available. Da Angela, named after chef Signora Angela Calvi-Rivera, prepares scrumptious Italian specialties. The pasta, the specialty of the house, is freshly prepared for each order. Other classics include veal liver and cappelletti filled with meat. The Italian restaurants of Zurich are the real thing. Buon Appetito, indeed!
