Wherever you display information from the API, you'll also need to display our logo so that it is obvious to the casual user that the information originates from NileGuide (copyright attribution). This logo must link to the NileGuide homepage at www.nileguide.com,
and the link must not contain a nofollow attribute. The link must also be "clean" (i.e., not a redirect).
We will automatically append a "read more about <title>" link to the end of each content element. When you excerpt the content, you must retain that link. Please note:
- <title> is the content of the <title> element of the API response entry whose text you're excerpting
- the entire text "read more about <title>" is a link to the URL from NileGuide whose text you're excerpting. This link must not contain a "nofollow" attribute.
- Alternatively, you can link directly from the title of the content element to the source content on NileGuide. Again, this must not contain a "nofollow" attribute.
- In either case, all links back to NileGuide must be "clean" (i.e., not redirects).
Wherever you display a complete piece of text (non-excerpt), you must add the text link "NileGuide Travel Guide and Trip Planner" before or after the text block. This link must point to the URL (the link rel=alternate in the API response) of the item from which you took the text, and it must be a clean and followable link.
You must not:
Display more than 350 characters of any individual review or description unless otherwise agreed by NileGuide
Modify NileGuide content in any way, or use it to update or create your own database of business listing information
Use the API on behalf of any third party
Monetize your own pages to your heart's content — we don't require any sort of revenue share.
NileGuide may e-mail users who have registered for the NileGuide API to inform them of changes to the API, updates to documentation and other information of interest to Nile developers.
