Lower Egypt Travel Guide

Ancient Egypt was divided into two regions according to the flow of the Nile River towards the Mediterranean, therefore the northernmost region of the Nile Delta is confusingly (by our standards) called Lower Egypt. It is the home of Cairo, the capital and also the second largest city in the continent.
