Montenegro is a tiny seaside Balkan nation. Its tourism has suffered greatly from Yugoslavia's tragic civil war in the 1990's. In recent years, along with the stabilized situation in the region, tourism in Montenegro has begun to recover, and Montenegro is being re-discovered by tourists from around the globe. Its coastline stretches for 93 miles along the Adriatic Sea. The splendid Tara Canyon in is the largest in Europe, and the Bay of Kotor is the only real fjord in the south of Europe.
