If you simply want to have the beach to yourself and delight in the gorgeous pink sand, head to Point of Sand on Little Cayman on weekdays. Other notable attractions are the Cayman Turtle Farm, the 65-acre Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park, the 2-mile-long National Trust's Mastic Trail and Pedro St. James Castle in Bodden Town.

 

Things to Do

 

Certainly, water-related activities rank near the top of the list in the Cayman Islands. You can go snorkeling or scuba diving practically anywhere here. So strap on your gear and check out the two shipwrecks off Cayman Brac and the newly-sunk USS Kittiwake off the shores of Seven Mile Beach. Once you are out of the water, you can go take a stroll through nature at Bloody Bay, go bird-watching at Grape Tree Ponds, view the black limestone formations in Hell (roughly the size of half a soccer field), or go horseback riding on Barker's Beach. If you want to just walk around, you can also explore George Town on foot or on a rented bike.

 

Dining

For a taste of jerk chicken, fried plantain, mahi-mahi or conch chowder dishes, visit any of the numerous restaurants along Seven Mile Beach. Another restaurant hub is West Bay Road. If you want to experience what dinner is like onboard a 19th century pirate ship, you can also ask the local operators who will book you a dinner cruise. There are also restaurants in George Town serving Caribbean, Asian and Italian dishes.
