Believing that the only way one can truly get to know a place is through its food and drink, Amy's favourite trips include bison burgers in Banff, Limoncello on Capri, the tasting menu at Babbo in New York, stinging nettle pizza in Berkeley, ice wine in the Okanagan Valley, currywurst in Berlin, and fondue plus wine out of baby bottles in Paris. An avid runner and hiker, she likes to negate any calories burned during her treks by compensating with local fare.
