Joseph Everett: Profile

Once a tour guide for New England, Alaska, Britain and Ireland, I now train and manage international tour professionals while still building my knowledge of worldwide leisure travel. I moved to southeast Massachusetts in 2004 having lived my entire life in southern states. Moving north was a huge culture shock and I found the best way to adapt was to treat the experience as an extended trip to a favorite destination. Taking part in festivals, savoring local cuisine and visiting historic attractions in and around New England has made me an ambassador for the quaint towns and diverse cities. I have a Masters in Education along with 15 years of experience in tourism and hospitality which includes travel to 32 countries and 230 cities around the world. I know what makes a destination special, I understand the service that travelers expect and I know how to guide people along the way. I enjoy history, cultural arts, leisurely outdoor activities and exploring new things in new places.
