Originally from New England, Pete is a former park ranger who has been in Yosemite for more than ten years now. He loves getting out in all seasons to explore Yosemite's 800 miles of hiking trails. Birds, trees, geology and John Muir are favorite subjects, but one of the best things about this national park is the people who are drawn to come explore it for themselves.
