Though a higher education drew Tara to the "Live Music Capital of the World" in 1996, the bustling local music scene and laid-back culture keep her in Austin. When she's not checking out the latest restaurants, bars and shops, Tara likes to explore Hill Country hiking trails, kayak Lady Bird Lake and take in Austin's architecture. Her vacation style is exotic, including treks through Egypt, Bonaire, Bangladesh, Nepal, Qatar and Oman, among others.
