UMMA, the University of Michigan Museum of Art displays over 19,000 works of art from around the globe. At UMMA, you can view pieces from famous artists like Picasso, Rembrandt and Monet as well as pieces from unknown artists in the Congo, 10th century China and magnificent pre-camera portraits. Should have any question about the work of art you are looking at, information is just steps away at a computer kiosk. At the end of your visit, be sure to check out DialogTable, an interactive, touch-screen social learning tool that allows you to tag images from around the museum and create your own personal collection of favorites that you can view on the website from home.
