Description:
Mudbrick is a well established winery and restaurant that sits very close to the passenger ferry terminal at Matiatia. It's extremely popular for weddings and functions and is a great combination of winery and dining experiences. You can stop by for lunch, dinner or just a sampling of the wines each day of the week. Lunch is from 11:30 AM and dinner from 6 PM. The cellar door opens at 10:30 AM for a post-breakfast tasting (Syrah anyone?). While most people focus on the wines here, be sure to check the gardens. They are something to behold even for a teetotaler.
