Although called a motor lodge, Manukau Heights also has serviced apartment-type rooms alongside the regular rooms. So, this is a good place in Manukau if you are looking for a bit of extra space for your family or want to stay for a while. It is close to the Westfield Shopping Centre (mall), which has a cinema, and also Rainbow's End amusement park. They actually offer a few package deals with Rainbow's End and also Butterfly Creek and Spookers, a haunted house-type attraction. So, check the website for what is current as the deals are seasonal. The decor is a little dated, but prices are not too high and the hosts seem friendly enough.
