Description:

The Irish Volunteer is one of the best Irish-themed hangouts in Beijing. You'll find a decently rowdy group of regulars and expats in the pub singing to the playlist they've by-now memorized. The beer selection isn't extensive, but it's impressive for such a small venue, and the bartenders know their beer. The bar is decently stocked, and although ordering off the menu isn't appreciated they can probably mix up whatever your Irish heart desires.

For St. Patrick's Day in Beijing it's a sure thing, and if you just want a small chill night out with friends the Irish Volunteer isn't a bad option.

Food is prevalent nearby, and located near the Lido Hotel you'll find a place to crash if you drink a few too many Irish Carbombs.
